You were born this way.

Ms. Nicole asked us to interview some people who belong to the third sex as our homework. Charlene, Thea, Lois, and Pia went to Lyceum to ask these people some questions. Lois and Pia were recording the video.

PART ONE GAY -PAMINTA

Thea: Do you consider yourself different among those who are straight? Why or why not?

Guy: uhm physically none, however the way we think? Probably, different because we have different preferences. Like me, iprefer uhm guys rather than.. uhm.. girls..

Thea: Do you believe in same sex marriage?

Guy: i.. I do believe but since this country is considered as s conservative country. Then i don’t believe we have lots of it now but hopefully in the future. But right now it seems like we have like alot of issues so probably we have to set it aside first.

Thea: Do you think that the Catholic Church should allow same sex marriage in our country?

Guy: OF COURSE YES!

Thea: What's your stand regarding the discrimination of gays and lesbians in our society?

Guy: people who discriminate us SUCK they don’t. They think so shallow and they don’t know what we can do despite of our talents and skills and i can say people who discriminate us are just stupid people who don’t understand us and what we can do.

PART TWO BISEXUAL (Male)

Charlene: What is your stand regarding the gays and lesbians in the Philippines?

Guy: UHM i don't have anything against uhh between homosexual. It’s just that sana magbigay ng respeto sa sarili kasi diba kadalasan ang homosexual nagccross dress sila.. dun lng siguro ako against kasi nababastos ang mga gays dhil sa mga nagcrocross dress..

Charlene: Which do you think is the more successful in our society?

Guy: WOMEN, ay may reason pa ba? Kasi more flexible sila kasi maparaan ang mga babae kaysa sa lalaki.

Charlene: Which do you think is the more acceptable in our society? Why or why not?

Guy: straight.. pwede bang straight?

Charlene: Gays or Lesbians?

Guy: ay uhh gays. Kasi for me gays medyo masiyahin sila eh though may mga gays na sobrang malisyoso ganun, pero kadalasan kasi mga lesbians ganun eh..

Charlene: Do you distant yourself from gays or lesbians?

Guy: ako sa lesbians, kasi sa mga na encounter kong lesbians kadalasan sakanila possessive ganun.. tsaka ang
mga lesbians ilang sa gays kaya likewise nalang din..

Charlene: How will you promote unity among men, women, gays and lesbians?

Guy: ano, for me magkakaroon ng unity kung walang insecurities sa bawat isa kasi kadalasan ang mga gays insecure sila sa mga babaeng mas maganda kaysa sakanila.. sana tanggapin nalang ng mga gays and lesibian na ang gays nagprepretend lng maging babae and ang mga lesbians nagprepretend lng din sila mging lalaki.

Charlene: Do you consider yourself different among those who are straight?

Guy: different in a way na iba ung gsto nmin

Charlene: Do you believe in same sex marriage?

Guy: no

Charlene: Do you think that the catholic church will allow same sex marriage in our country?

Guy: no

Charlene: Would you still want to have a child?

Guy: yes

Charlene: Last question, what's your stand regarding the discrimination of gays and lesbians in our country.. in our society?

Guy: the one who discriminates homosexuals are immoral. Kasi para sakin being gay, walang problema saken.. once na di ka gumagawa ng immoral na kagaya ng ginagawa nila, na di sila nakaka intindi ng opinion ng tao.. kung paano nila i-express ang kanilang sarili

PART THREE GAY (Effem)

Lia interviewed her friend, Carl Chavez, also studying at DLS-CSB, taking up MMA. He's in

the block

FMA8.

Lia: In what way do you think that the people in the 3rd sex should get respect?

Carl: Respect in a way that they accept your whole being and stop from treating us like we have

communicable diseases

Lia: How would you know if a straight-looking guy is gay?

Carl: By how he dress or sometimes how he talks and moves.

Lia: Why or why don't you think that cross-dressing is allowed to gays?

Carl: We should be contented with what we are, and being gay for me is just attracted to the same gender

and that's all no more no less

Lia: When you get old, would you like to have kids with a female or have a boyfriend and adopt?

Carl: None of the above, I want to have a boyfriend, serve the community.

Lia: Why do you think that gay marriage shall be legalized in our country?

Carl: Love is for all, love is free and love knows no gender. The church should be fair to all.
